Last Updated: Feb 6, 2024 by

In today’s digital age, it’s common for individuals to have multiple Microsoft accounts for different purposes. However, managing multiple accounts can be a hassle and can lead to confusion. Luckily, Microsoft offers a feature that allows users to link their accounts, making it easier to access all their Microsoft services in one place. In this step-by-step guide, we will walk you through the process of linking your Microsoft accounts.

Step 1: Sign in to Your Microsoft Account

The first step is to sign in to the Microsoft account that you want to link to another account. This will be your primary account, and all other accounts will be linked to it. You can sign in by going to the Microsoft login page and entering your email and password.

Step 2: Go to the “Your Info” Page

Once you are signed in, click on your profile picture or initials in the top right corner of the page. This will open a drop-down menu, and from there, select “Your Info.” This will take you to a page where you can manage your account information.

Step 3: Click on “Manage Your Sign-in Email or Phone Number”

On the “Your Info” page, scroll down until you see the “Manage your sign-in email or phone number” section. Click on the “Add email or phone number” button.

Step 4: Enter the Email or Phone Number of the Account You Want to Link

In the pop-up window, enter the email or phone number of the Microsoft account you want to link to your primary account. Then click on the “Add” button.

Step 5: Verify the Account

Microsoft will send a verification code to the email or phone number you entered. Enter the code in the pop-up window and click on the “Verify” button.

Step 6: Confirm the Link

Once the account is verified, you will see a confirmation message. Click on the “Close” button to finish linking the accounts.

Step 7: Repeat for Additional Accounts

If you have more than one account you want to link, repeat the process for each account. All linked accounts will now appear under the “Your Info” page.

Step 8: Access Your Linked Accounts

To access your linked accounts, simply click on your profile picture or initials in the top right corner of the page and select the account you want to use from the drop-down menu. This will take you to the account’s dashboard, where you can access all Microsoft services associated with that account.

Step 9: Manage Your Linked Accounts

If you ever need to remove a linked account, simply go back to the “Your Info” page and click on the “Remove” button next to the account you want to unlink.

By following these simple steps, you can easily link your Microsoft accounts and streamline your online experience. No more logging in and out of different accounts, now you can access all your Microsoft services with just a few clicks.
